Skopje, September 6th, 2019

Today, Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Manchevski, joined and supported the Campaign "Moj DDV".

The measure anticipating 15% VAT refund produces the expected results.

As of September 5th, a total od 16 333 516 fiscal receipts have been scanned, with a turnover of  8 341 449 275 MKD.

The 15% VAT refund accounts for 135 893 436 MKD or 2 210 000 EUR.

Today, North Macedonia and the United Kingdom hold a one-day expert workshop on cyber-security in Skopje, organized as part of their collaborative relations. The underlying aim of this worshop is to establish specific initiatives in support of the process of capacity building in the field of cyber-security, as well as to enhance cooperation between both countries.

The Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Manchevski, attends the first meeting dedicated to the ICT Dialogue between EU and the Western Balkans, held in Brussels.

European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Mariya Gabriel officially opened the meeting and among the participants are Minister Manchevski and line ministers from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Kosovo.

For that purpose, during its last session, the Government adopted the information on mapping public institutions and locations for free Wi-Fi access.
