ITU Regional Workshop for Europe on “National Cybersecurity Strategies”

On 26-28 June 2019, the Ministry of Information Society and Administration will host the ITU Regional Workshop for Europe on “National Cybersecurity Strategies”. The workshop is organized by the International Telecommunication Union, in cooperation with the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF).

The event will take place at the MPs' Club in Skopje, in the period 26th - 28th June 2019.

This workshop is organized within the framework of the ITU Regional Initiative for Europe and aims to review national cybersecurity strategies and to share regional best practices and case studies.

Following the workshop, an assessment report will be prepared enlisting the key findings and recommendations on the way forward for the establishment and enhancement of the existing National Cybersecurity Strategies of each participating economy.

Taking into account the ongoing digital integration process in the Western Balkans economies in the European Union, particular focus of this event will be put on Western Balkan economies, and the outcomes of this event will simultaneously contribute to the Multiyear Digital Integration Plan 2018 - 2020.
